Teddy has found his home

Teddy was another stray into our care during the Summer .. he came out of the Pound on a Friday, and spent one night in kennels before leaving to go to foster with the fantastic Frances, an experienced foster home .. here is where he blossomed and it was clear that he would fit into any family home .. he was brilliant with people and dogs alike …

He caught the eye of Catherine & Paul (another of our core foster carers) and they expressed an interest in taking him on trial with a view to adopt .. Catherine & Paul have played vital roles in the lives of so many rescue dogs who have passed through their home and gone on to happy-ever-afters .. but they were desperate to find a dog that they could call their own and that would quite simply “fit in” ..

And Teddy has done just that .. he simply hasn’t put a paw wrong .. the family adore him and he adores them .. he is a wonderful ambassador for his breed – portraying all the positive sides of these beautiful shepherds .. Teddy by name, Teddy by nature .. he has been to various fundraising events over the past few months and simply embraces the attention .. you just couldn’t put a price on that !

And all of this is also a reflection of the wonderful family environment he has found himself in .. he has truly found his home … and he also has a best buddy in former DDR pooch Bolt – they have many a play-date !

We simply cannot thank Catherine & Paul enough for welcoming Teddy into their home and for also staying part of our foster team .. here’s to many years of happy memories to come xxx
