Meet the gorgeous Wilma … a far cry from the abandoned soul saved from the Pound on 26th December 2016.
This cute little button made it into foster care as she required emergency surgery after it became clear she was pregnant – a veterinary examination established that sadly the pups were not alive – the emotional strain of this on Wilma is unimaginable .. but thankfully she came out the other side and continued to thrive in foster …
And then a chance request for holiday foster at Easter opened the doors to what has now become Wilma’s new family .. Wilma spent a week with Margaret and this is where the Kelly family fell in love with her .. so a trial homing was organised ..
Over the weeks and months that followed, Wilma has settled in with her new family .. she loves the children and they love her .. yes, she has some quirks – but her new family are determined to work hard to ensure Wilma has a safe, secure home ..
And so last Friday I was greeted by a cute little lady, proud to show off her wonderful home and family – a totally pampered pooch. Thank you so much to the Kelly family for adopting a Rescue Dog xxx
Thank you to everyone along the way who has made this happy-ever-after possible xx
