Well these photos speak for themselves and just show exactly how resilient dogs can be … particularly when they are in a foster home and receiving all the TLC and exercise they require… huge credit to Sarah Jane who is working wonders rehabilitating Sasha post-surgery and for providing her with such a variety of play-date locations .. a well-exercised pooch is a happy pooch xxx

And this is the veterinary update as of last week on Sasha – she has come a long way – but still some way to go – special mention to the team at Avenue Veterinary Clinic:

24th April: Sasha was at Ave Vet this morning for her check up – she got her bandages changed – John McGuinness is very happy – everything was very clean, no infections; and all still as tight as it should be.  He wants to see her in another 2 weeks – then she will have to wear it for another 1-2 weeks before he will remove the fixture. After that she has to be kept quiet for another 2 weeks to avoid a new break  – the bone being at its most vulnerable with the 6 holes of the pins in her bone before it has healed itself.
