My name is Bonnie and I came into DDR care in early December 2016. The guys from Hundar Utan Hem saw me in the Pound and saved me. They promised me a new life in Sweden – but it was going to be a long wait.
Sadly there were no suitable foster homes available, so I was lucky enough to get offered a space with the guys in Louth SPCA. I’ve been keeping them company each day helping out with the daily work – I love chilling in the caravan having the craic – but sadly every night I have to go back to a lonely kennel. All I want is a warm bed and a family to call my own. I love playing ball and running. The strain of the long wait has taken its toll on me – I am so stressed that even though I am eating – I cannot keep the weight on.
I’m due to go to Sweden on Tuesday 23rd January and I can’t wait! Especially as I found out today that DDR have secured a weekend foster for me with Paul – he says he will spoil me rotten and help prepare me for my big adventure.
Here’s some pictures from my mini adventure this afternoon when I went for a trip into town. It was a nice change for me and has given me a taste for what lies in store – my dream life is so close xxx
